stumble serendipity
Just from the talk today we had in class, about calling yourself a writer and when that is proper, and also about blogging your writing, or at least writing consistently.. found this while stumbling around… actually, been finding more than a few good writing resources online, and maybe i’ll actually start going through them. we’ll see. Decided to post this one up though.. it seemed to fit.

1. Do it. Write.
2…. Every writer is a reader first.
7. Grammar: learn the rules, then break them.
8. Stop procastinating.
14. Write every single day. (not sure how well that will work out for me, but i think its a good goal to at least write down something every day, even if its not “serious” writing. Goes along with the one about starting a blog)
19. Allow yourself to write poorly.
21. You are a writer so own up and say it out loud, “I am a writer.” Whether it’s a hobby or your profession, you have the right to this title.
22. Write, write, write, and then write some more. Forget everything else and just write.
